Ashley Greene is negotiating to join Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore in the film LOL: Laughing Out Loud, according to reports.
“Hung” star Thomas Jane is also said to be in talks.
A remake of a French comedy, LOL will be directed by the original’s filmmaker, Liza Azuelos. It stars Cyrus as a dumped teenager and Moore as her struggling divorced mother.
Greene would play a “high school bad girl” and nemesis to the Cyrus character.
Shooting begins next month.
On the day his movie is set to make some serious waves at the box office, Eclipse producer Wyck Godfrey had some interesting things to tell Time magazine.
“Everyone is talking about whatever is going on between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart,” says his interviewer. “Is that good for business?”
“Do you want the honest answer? I haven’t even thought of it that way,” replies Godfrey.
When the interviewer presses, “That’s not the honest answer,” Godfrey responds in strikingly open language.
“It really is. I honestly don’t think of it in terms of business. It doesn’t affect our core business at all. The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It’s like, Wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together. That’s what affects my day-to-day.”
Referring to the publicity questions about their real-life relationship has generated, Godfrey continues, “I don’t feel it’s out there anymore. Do people still report on it? If you look at people who have a stable personal life, the rags get tired of them. I think we’re heading to that place where they are together and that’s their life and we better find someone new to create drama out of.”

KStew told MTV News that her new look is for her next movie, which is based on the Jack Kerouac novel, On The Road.
She said: "It's kind of blond right now. Like, reddish brown. I'm doing it for 'On the Road.’”
Kristen is playing the part of Marylou and will star alongside Garrett Hedlund who is playing the lead role of Dean Moriaty.
Of her new co-star, Kristen said: “I've met him a bunch of times, and I've hung out with him twice.
"He's a great guy. He's super into it… He's, like, so in character, and he's driving to Montreal. He's awesome. I'm really, really excited.”

The actress is sporting a new hair do and colour and we think they look makes Kristen seem much older than her 20 years.
The actress wore a cream mini dress and co-ordinating heels and smiled for the waiting paparazzi as she made her way to the studios.

Thousands of articles have theorized about the relationship between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but rarely has one been as asinine as PopEater’s latest effort.
“Perpetually in bad moods,” Pattinson and Stewart give “grumpy” sound bites and “glower at the cameras,” sneers the site… next to a photo of the pair smiling.
But PopEater isn’t satisfied to prove its point merely with the observational and photo editing skills of a wet sock.
How about some condescension?
Compared to Pattinson and Stewart, “Julius and Ethel Rosenberg look like Snooki and The Situation making out in a hot-tub,” chortles PopEater, scoffing, “If you’re too young to know who Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are, then R-Pattz and K-Stew are probably your romantic role models.”
Ah, yes, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. A couple executed in 1953 for atomic espionage. And, apparently, the gold standard for being “grumpy.”
If we didn’t know better, we’d say PopEater invokes the Rosenbergs (and Snooki!) while patronizing its readers because it has no actual case to make.
Oh, but it tries.
The main thrust of the article exploring their “deliciously suspicious romance” is that Pattinson and Stewart have faked it “to sell movie tickets.”
Here’s a summary of PopEater’s “argument”:
*** Stewart denied a relationship with Pattinson in a Nylon magazine interview while filming New Moon, saying that she and he were “good friends.”
OK. She gave that comment a year and a half ago. Why is this relevant?
*** Stewart and Pattinson were photographed “by a small-town blogger” on vacation on the Isle of Wight.
Yes. Um. What’s the point? They went on vacation because… they aren’t really dating?
*** Stewart and Pattinson “may or may not” have revealed (off camera) their relationship to Oprah Winfrey.
They didn’t. And if they had, so what?
*** Stewart attended the premiere of Pattinson’s Remember Me.
Yes, she did. Girlfriends regularly attend premieres. Platonic friends regularly attend premieres. Past and future co-stars regularly attend premieres. What does her presence have to do with a conspiracy to sell out theaters for, say, Eclipse? Especially when PopEater makes a point of saying she and Pattinson didn’t have much contact that night?
(Which itself is inaccurate. Gossip Cop was there the whole night. Pattinson and Stewart spent the entire after-party in a VIP area with a select group of friends and family.)
And… that’s pretty much all the article offers in the way of “specifics.”
PopEater then writes, “Perhaps the media wouldn’t be so suspicious of the real relationship between Rob and Kristen if there wasn’t such a massive financial incentive for them to lead us along.”
They don’t own Twilight. Their salaries have already been negotiated. That’s the beginning and end of their “financial incentive.”
“If Rob and Kristen really are just following the studio’s orders to generate heat for their films,” blusters PopEater, “At least it would explain why they’re so sour all the time.”
Wait.
So Summit’s grand plan is to force Pattinson and Stewart into faking a relationship that makes them “sour” with the press? Of course. Because everyone knows “sour” people with a “miserable attitude” are a huge draw at the box office. It’s why Andy Rooney’s been the decade’s biggest motion picture star.
There’s also this: It’s an awfully big commitment to pretend you’re dating for a few years (and five films) to the exclusion of dating other people.
But the biggest problem is that PopEater’s main argument doesn’t even makes sense.
If Stewart and Pattinson are forced into a publicity stunt relationship, wouldn’t it stand to reason that Summit would want it to gain… publicity?
The two stars shun the paparazzi. They avoid being photographed holding hands, kissing, etc. If, for instance, Summit planted Stewart at Pattinson’s Remember Me premiere to make it seem like they’re in a relationship… why would Pattinson walk the red carpet with co-star Emilie de Ravin? If they “forced” them to vacation together, why would it be on an island with zero paparazzi?
If they conspired with their studio to perpetuate a “fake relationship,” wouldn’t they be photographed just once holding hands and kissing on the red carpet or “accidentally” spotted around L.A. having romantic dinners together?
If this were a “fake relationship,” we’d see more photos of them together, not less.
The only thing “fake” here is PopEater’s premise.
Xavier Samuel also reported to the airport that afternoon. Xavier, much like Rob himself, brought a guitar along for the voyage. Taylor Lautner, though, went through security with his entourage today. They're all busy with a final promotional push for their film before it opens in the US in just two days on Wednesday! After some time off, the gang will reunite on set to start filming the first installment of Breaking Dawn. 
Does the Eclipse premiere already seem like a million years ago? Thousands of screaming fans, hundreds of reporters, just your average premiere day if you're one of the stars of Eclipse.
So how do Robert Pattinson & Co. prep for a day like that?
"Just freak out," Rob told us Thursday night.
Well, good thing he had Kristen Stewart give him a pep talk ahead of time:
As we first told you, R & K had lunch together at Swingers on Beverly Boulevard Thursday afternoon, before looking fierce on the black carpet together later on.
In fact, the outfit you see Kristen walking out of the restaurant in was the same tank she switched back into for the official Eclipse afterparty.
"[Kristen and Rob] were eating at a table in the back of the restaurant, sitting next to each other with a few hipster looking friends," is how our non Twi-hard source puts it. "They were actually really cute together, a few PDA strokes here and there. They just looked like a normal couple."
Another duo who sticks together before the big night? Besties Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser.
We asked Nikki if she talks to Kristen, Elizabeth, or Ashley Greene on premiere days to sort out what they're wearing and all that fun stuff ahead of time.
"No," N.R. said shaking her head, quickly adding, "well, me and Elizabeth do!"
"We call each other during hair and makeup. We're like you good? Yeah. You good? Yeah. What are you wearing? Can you eat? I can't," laughed Nikki. "Every time!"
Still, Reed told us reporters she still gets jitters, but it ain't about us.
"You know what makes me nervous?" N.R. asked in her Marchesa dress. "How nervous my 10-year-old brother is! Am I handling everything fine, am I taking care of my family?"
Presh! Speaking of fam, Taylor Lautner told us his good buds Rob and Kristen are what get him through premieres.
"I mean we always are together," the well groomed teen dished. "We're either promoting, filming, it's always something so we're very close friends. I'm very thankful we are so close."
"I'm very thankful we get along, so yeah, it's great," TL said about pumping himself up with R & K on big days.
As for Ash?
"The ritual is at this point to put on some music and chill out, have a couple friends over. Otherwise, it will get overwhelming," A.G. said in her Alexis Mabille gown. "Oh, and I work out. Then the hair and makeup brigade comes over."

2. Rob Lets LooseAfter doing so many of these, Robert Pattinson really seemed relaxed last night. He ran back and forth on the carpet greeting as many fans as possible, and at the afterparty he sat with Kristen as he chowed down on chicken wings and sipped a Stella Artois beer.
I'm no idiot so let's just preface this with no matter what I say about Eclipse, millions will still flock to theaters with their respective "Team Edward or Jacob" tees and make me eat my words. But, I'm happy to report that despite all the uber hype, Eclipse manages to serve up enough drama, romance and supernatural action to satiate most Twihards.
Ironically, it is David Slade, an indie/horror director who delivered the most mainstream installment, and in my humble opinion, the best movie of the three films! Don't get me wrong, there are some minor issues with it, and Twilight purists might have a few words for Summit, I'm sure.
The fim is broken down into three universal themes, one being the love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob. The second theme is revenge. Victoria wants payback for Edward killing her vampire boyfriend, James. Hey Victoria, don't forget that your boy James was only killed because he almost snacked on Bella, but I guess vampire logic doesn't exactly exist in Forks. The last theme is Good vs. Evil, which culimnates in an epic battle at the end. The Cullens and the wolves call a temporary truce and team up to defeat Victoria (and Riley's) army of vampires.
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, condensed the best moments of the book. Fans will be happy to see Jasper and Rosalie's background stories revealed. The Quileute creation story explains how shape-shifters called Spirit Warriors, were the original werewolves. Some character tweaks can be forgiven like giving Academy Award nominee, Anna Kendrick more face time. Victoria's second in command, Riley, was given an expanded role, having more presence than Victoria herself, who just seemed to run around a whole lot. I was, however, disappointed that Alice's role was so diminished that it seemed as though she and Bella aren't actually close. It's a shame because freaky, pre-cog Alice and her special relationship with Bella is one of my favorite story arcs.
But seriously, it was all about Edward and Bella's romance and trust me, there's plenty of making out. The beloved leg hitch scene is in and it's hot! What I like about Eclipse is that there are finally conclusions to open storylines. Victoria's bloody vengeance comes to an end. Bella makes her final final decision to become a vampire after weighing all the consequences. The love triangle comes to a conclusion; Bella chooses Edward, breaking Jacob's heart. But was there ever really a contest between Edward and Jake? I say no. Taylor Lautner's Jacob (looking amazing!) however, was much more mature than book Jacob, keeping his obnoxious behavior in check. The much anticipated tent scene lives up to expectation. Jacob has arguably the best line in the movie. When Edward asked him why he was getting into Bella's sleeping bag, he replies "I am hotter than you!" it sent the audience into fits!
There's something for everyone so if interactions of the amourous kind aren't exactly your thing, then there's plenty of vampire-on-werewolf- blood-sucking-jaw-gnashing action too!!! I do have to say that dead vampires looking like broken marble statues was kinda wierd, and bordering on the cheese. I know, don't hate! Even still, Twilighters will be out in droves to show love and adoration for their favorite Forks crew. So here are my final words: Eclipse, I'm in!!!
